Councilwoman Linda Geevers

Dedicated Service, Extensive Experience

 

Linda Geevers has been a member of the Council since 2005, including several years as President and Vice President. She also served on the West Windsor Planning Board for nine years. Linda was previously elected twice (1999-2005) to the West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional Board of Education and held many leadership roles.

 

As an active community member, Linda currently serves as a Fire Police Officer with the West Windsor Volunteer Fire Co. #1 and on the Board of Directors of the West Windsor Lions Club.

 

Linda and her husband have been residents for 30 years. Their three children were educated K-12 in the WW-P School District.

  • 2023-24 WW Lion’s Club “Lion of the Year” award in recognition of exceptional service

  • Member of WW Arts Council, WW Bicycle and Pedestrian Alliance, Friends of WW Open Space; former girls rec basketball coach for 10 yrs

  • Worked in Radio Broadcasting as a News Reporter/Producer

  • WW resident for 30 years; married 40 years; three children educated in WW-P Schools

  • B.S. in Communications Arts, Cornell University

 

Councilwoman Geevers brings years of invaluable experience to the Township Council.

 

Her tireless work and profound dedication to West Windsor are evident in every job she has held on Council, from President to Committee Liaison. She understands the intricacies of local government and has consistently watched out for every resident.

 

Linda’s proven track record, deep understanding of our township's needs and readiness to adopt new ideas make her an indispensable voice on the Council.
